White Cocoa
New York artist White Cocoa creates portraits that can be seen all over the world. The kicker? The majority of her work is done entirely in colored pencil, creating a unique visual effect. The ability to see individual pencil strokes gives White Cocoa’s characters spectacular depth. Much of her work features ordinary individuals who you could see anywhere on the street. She focuses mainly on the sentiments and situation of her subjects, often painting different physical sides of the person combined into one distinct image. For example, in the picture below, the woman's two heads represent her outward appearance opposed to her hidden feelings.
