Living Walls

Sten Lex is a street art duo comprised of Italian street artists Sten and Lex. Both born in 1982, Sten and Lex began doing stencil art in the early 2000s in their hometown of Rome. From there the duo spread their works to the streets of London, Paris, Barcelona, and New York. Devoid of traditional art academies and classic street art graffiti, Sten and Lex were considered pioneers of stencil culture because of the small stencil community in early Italian street art. The duo is most recognized for their halftone stencil technique where the stencil portrait is composed of hundreds of stencil lines.
